Guidelines Driving School is the treading name of GDS. The terms and conditions on this section outline the rules and regulations for the use of GUIDELINES DRIVING SCHOOL’s Website, located at www.guidelinesdrivingschool.com.
Guidelines Driving School reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting on the website. All client (customers/ learners) at GDS are responsible to review the terms and condition regularly to make sure that they are aware of all the changes made.
By accessing the website (www.guidelinesdrivingschool) and reading these T&C we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions in full in order to agree that we provide you with driving lesson and you agreed to purchase driving lesson from GDS.
All the driving instructors at GDS are self employed and work in their capacity as franchisees of GDS under the terms of franchise agreement.
If you as a customer do not agree to these terms and conditions stated in our T&C section do not continue to use guidelines driving school’s website.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements:
“Client” means the customer “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person who log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions.
“The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company, (Guidelines Driving School).
“Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and Ourselves. customers & GDS.
GDS: Guidelines Driving School is the trading name of GDS.
“Driving School ” refers to GDS & its instructors who providing the services, Driving Training and Driving Tuition’s.
Customer refers to purchaser of our services and pupils.
Pupil: The Learners who receiving Tuition’s from (GDS) /instructors
Offer: refers to the discount made and showed in our special offer page
All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services.
Guidelines Driving school and our Driving Instructors have the right to charge for any lessons which affected by customer’s failure to comply with our terms and conditions.
1- The contract for driving tuition is solely between the Pupil and the Instructor. They are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the Dates, timing, location and duration of every individual lessons. No contractual liability shall arise or subsist between the Pupil and (GDS).
2- Learners to have Tuition and their responsibilities
Must be 17 or over, or 16 with higher rate of receiving disability living allowance.
have a valid UK provisional licence or legally allowed to drive in UK.
The Pupil agrees that he/she is legally allowed to drive the tuition vehicle.
The Pupil will be asked by the Instructor to show the evidence of their license @ the first lesson.
Failure to provide the proof will result in cancellation of the lesson and the full lesson fee will be charged.
All the learners must show respect to their instructors and comply with lawful instructions given by their instructors, especially according to the matters affecting the health and safety of you and others. Failure to do so, result in cancellation of the lesson and the full charge will be apply.
Responsibilities and Duties of your instructor
Provide instruction lesson on vehicle control and functions according to road regulations (Cockpit drill).
Prepare high standard lesson plan that are tailored to the learners needs.
Teach all practical skills that related to the aspect of driving.
Build confidence on student’s driving ability and skills.
Gaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations.
Record the progress of student.
Inform the learner when they are ready to take test.
Calms learners who are in distress and feeling emotional and nervous.
Asses the learner by tacking a mock test to prepare them for test.
The Instructors at GDS will carry appropriate Dual control motor insurance cover the Pupil whilst driving the tuition vehicle when accompanied by an Instructor or a Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Examiner.
4- All the pupils will need to notify their Instructors of any matter that affects his/her ability or entitlement to have driving tuition. This includes but is not limited, taking medication that may affect the ability to drive safely, any medical condition that may affect ability to drive, any lack or loss, of a valid provisional driving licence, any revocation of driving entitlement.
5 – The Instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the tuition vehicle for the purposes of taking a practical driving test if, in the opinion of the Instructor, this would best Serve the Pupil’s interests. This includes, but is not limited to, a situation where the Pupil has disregarded the Instructor’s advice to reschedule their test.
6- The Instructor reserves the right to refuse to give tuition if, in the opinion of the Instructor, it is considered that the Pupil is unfit to drive due to any reason, including but not limited to: being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, illness, injury, failing to wear glasses or contact lenses where these are required by law, wearing footwear or other clothing that would make driving hazardous. In these instances, the Instructor reserves the right to charge the Pupil the full cost of the lesson.
7- To sign as GDS Learner MUST be agreed not to smoke in the learner car at all time during lesson.
8- The Pupil agrees to refrain from consuming food or drink in the tuition vehicle without the prior consent of the Instructor.
9- To sign as GDS instructor you agreed not to smoke in the vehicle while providing Tuition.
10- The Pupil agrees that it is their responsibility to provide all relevant documentation when taking their theory and practical driving tests. Neither GDS nor the Instructor accept any responsibilities for any losses caused by failure to provide the required documentation.
11- All learners must Concentrate on learning not to use their phone while on the lesson.
12- Learners must show proper manor to their instructor and follow instruction, learners failed to follow instruction and not show the correct manor, all instructors reserve the right to stop providing you tuition.
GIFT VOUCHER T&C
Our gift vouchers will be the property of the purchaser and the date of validation will be shown on the voucher, expired Voucher cannot be used.
All the gift vouchers will be belonging to the person or individual who has their name printed in voucher, the voucher will not be transferable.
All the gift vouchers will have no cash value and only can used for driving lesson.
The expired vouchers will be Void and become Null if not used in time.
Driving tuition purchased as a Gift Voucher is subject to our driving lesson and/or special offer terms and conditions in addition to the gift voucher terms and conditions.
All special offers are available to learner Drivers who hold UK provisional driving licence.
Special offers apply to the GDS new Pupils.
All offers will be for one time Use only (cannot be repeated)
Any packages under special offer purchased will be valid for period of three months from the first date of completed lesson. After this period the remaining balance will not be refundable.

While booking online we at GDS agree and confirm the following as part of our booking services:
While booking online your money will be held in a special pupil’s account and will be used only to pay your instructor’s Tuition fee of confirmed and completed lessons.
When each lesson confirmed you will be receiving Automatic message (email) of the delivery of your lesson following your instructor name, date and time and duration of your lesson.
If you do not agree with the details of your lesson delivery. to dispute the information, you must contact GDS within 48 hours of receiving the message (email).
If you did not dispute the matter within the time limit the instructor will be Automatically receiving the money as completed lesson.
At Guidelines driving school we have guarantee refund policy if you decided to not have lesson anymore, we will refund your remaining balance.
Requests for refund must be made in writing within 28 days from valid – To, dates administration fee of 15%
All pupils who booked and confirmed a lesson with their instructor, wishes to amend or cancel must give us or their instructor 36-hour notice.
cancellation with short notice will be charged in full & Learners will be liable to pay in full.
Learners who booked and confirm lesson and not show will be charged in full.
Learners intent to buy block packages must pay in advance, otherwise the hourly rate will be applied.
For lessons dates and timing arrangement you and your instructor will be responsible
Have your professional license with you at the first lesson.
Payments for Tuition:
Tuition fees need to be paid 24 hours before the start of driving lesson
You can make payment in cash & balance transfer.
General Terms & conditions
Your instructor time slots are subject to their availability.
We (GDS) reserve the right to change the prices of our services.
Special offers can be added or removed from time to time.
For the welcome package -1 & 2 of 5 hours you will receive 1-hour tuition on first day of your lesson, two hours tuition at second day of you booking and finally you will have two hours tuition prior to your practical test.
If you paid for welcome package 1 or 2 and completed 3 hours than decided not to continue. In that case you will not be entitle for any refund.
You can only use a welcome package once.
If you selected to pay for an offer then you will not be entitled to select same offer at the same time, only one offer at any time unless the offer discretion stated different.
If you paid for lesson, you cannot transfer or sell the lesson.
Booking your practical test
After you completed Your Training, your instructor will be carrying out a mock test to asses you, if your instructor told you that you not ready for the test and not advise you to book test, he or she will be providing you with more advice’s and training. If you book the test without confirming it with your instructor, your instructor will not take you to the test. You need to discuss your booking date and time with your instructor.
If your driving instructor says that you are not ready for test and you already booked your test, DVSA need you to give three working days to cancel otherwise you will lose the booking fee.
